Kannada rapper Chandan Shetty and his actor wife, Niveditha Gowda, are no strangers to controversy. Everything about their relationship has been scrutinised over the years that they've been together, with people still trolling them for their significant age difference.

It may be recalled that Chandan had used the Dasara stage in Mysuru to propose to Niveditha, which didn't go down well with a lot of people who took offence to a festival stage being used for personal reasons.

Well, that's all in the past now. One look at both of their social media accounts, and one can see many love-filled posts and reels that the couple shares often with their fans. While many of their followers appreciate and look forward to seeing what Chandan and Niveditha will post next, their most recent reel has not gone down well with several of their followers.

In their most recent reel, Chandan and Niveditha are seen underwater in a pool. The couple forms a heart shape with their hands and kisses each other underwater. The caption for the reel is two hearts.

Watch the reel here:

While some of their fans commented that the video was "cute" and that the couple is "made for each other" others have asked them to reserve such affection for their bedroom.

One user commented, "Ishtu kashta pattu neeralli usru kattkandu adu ardambarda kissu... Bedroom le madbodittala bro bolt hakandu aramagi (Why struggle so much by holding your breath underwater to kiss? Do this in your bedroom after bolting the door)".

Another user schooled Chandan on the law of the land with the comment, "IPC section 204 is in our law of land. Please Act responsibly, people will try to enact the same."
