The last few days have been extremely tough and challenging for the Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav. This was because of his alleged involvement in the (infamous) party which was held last year. The case came to light after the Noida Police raided a banquet hall located in Sector 51 acting upon a complaint filed by People For Animals (PFA), in which they had written about the use of poisonous snakes in the event.
Latest update on the Elvish Yadav case
The latest update on the Elvish Yadav case is that, the Noida Police have now filed a chargesheet against him and seven others, based on the allegations on them, which ranged from snake smuggling to organizing rave parties, as per a latest report in ANI. The said charge sheet also claimed that Elvish was in touch with the snake charmers and also that a poisonous snake and 20 ml of Krait species poison were also recovered from the spot.

For the uninitiated, removal of venom glands of a snake is a punishable offence under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act. Under this Act, the guilty can face imprisonment upto seven years. Looking back, readers may recall that, after the success of Bigg Boss OTT (where Divya Agarwal was declared as the winner), the show’s makers went on to announce Bigg Boss OTT 2. The second season of the show had many social media influencers who were seen fighting for the much-coveted prize.
Suddenly, the show’s makers (following the show’s format) introduced a bunch of wild card entries. Elvish Yadav was one such contestant who had entered the reality show as a wild card. Right from the time he entered the show, he was on a heart winning spree… not just of his fellow contestants, but also that of the audiences as well.
After being in the Bigg Boss OTT 2 house till the end, Elvish Yadav (whose real name is Sidharth Yadav) not just went onto become one of the show’s finalists, but also won the show, after beating two strong contenders in the form of Abhishek Malhan aka Fukraa Insaan and Manisha Rani.
