Chatha Pacha: Roshan Mathew opens up on prepping for WWE-inspired Malayalam movie

Chatha Pacha: The Ring of Rowdies, an upcoming Malayalam film, has hogged attention for a number of reasons. From a WWE-inspired plot to the Malayalam debut of Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy, Chatha Pacha appears to be a movie to watch out for. Actor Roshan Mathew stars in one of the lead roles in the movie, along with Arjun Ashokan. In an exclusive chat with OTTplay, Roshan Mathew spoke about the actors' intense, physical training schedule for the upcoming film, which he promises will be a very commercial movie

Actor Roshan Mathew, who was recently seen in the Malayalam film Ronth, is currently working on Chatha Pacha. When OTTplay quizzed the actor about his upcoming venture, which has a WWE-style wrestling, the actor politely declined to spill any beans but confirmed that it is a pakka commercial entertainer.

“Yes, it is a very commercial film, and we are trying to make it as entertaining as possible. It has WWE-type wrestling as the backdrop for all the entertainment,” said the actor, who has made a mark even in the Hindi industry.

When asked about prepping for the action-packed movie, Roshan said, “We all have a very intense, physical training schedule, which we had been following two months before the shoot and it is still continuing. It is not just me, all of the actors are prepping for it.”

Meanwhile, the first schedule of Chatha Pacha has been wrapped up.

Dubai influencer marks Malayalam film debut

Another exciting news is that digital influencer Khalid Al Ameri from Dubai is also joining Chatha Pacha, marking his debut in Malayalam films

Set in Fort Kochi, the film is set to revolve around a bunch of youngsters who set up a wrestling club. Vishak Nair, who was seen in Officer on Duty, and Ishan Shoukath of Marco fame play the other pivotal lead roles in the film, which promises to be an action spectacle. Produced by Reel World Entertainment, the film is helmed by Adhvaith Nayar in his directorial debut. Kalai Master serves as the stunt choreographer
