Chatha Pacha announced! Arjun Ashokan, Roshan Mathew to star in WWE-inspired action spectacle

Another intriguing Malayalam film has been announced. The film titled Chatha Pacha stars Arjun Ashokan and Roshan Mathew. What’s more exciting is that Chatha Pacha will have music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, making their Malayalam debut. From the poster to lead cast, here’s everything that we know about the latest Malayalam film announcement.

The official Instagram page of Mammootty Kampany, the production house of the Malayalam megastar, made the title and cast announcement of the upcoming Malayalam film. Titled Chatha Pacha - Ring Of Rowdies, the film stars Arjun Ashokan, Roshan Mathew, Vishak Nair and Ishan Shoukath. The caption promised that the film would be a WWE-inspired action spectacle. 

Along with the announcement, Mammootty Kampany had also shared a poster, which showed the sketch of a boxing ring with the crowd cheering. With the makers confirming to portray the WWE wrestling madness, set in Kochi, fans can expect another action entertainer from Malayalam. The filming is likely to begin in May, as per reports online.

The film is written and directed by Adhvaith Nayar, and produced by Ritesh S Ramakrishnan and Shihan Shoukath. The highlight of Chatha Pacha is that it will have music scored by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, in their Malayalam debut. The popular trio had first announced their entry into Malayalam cinema in February 2025. The update had left fans excited and now the title and cast of the exciting project have also been revealed.

Meanwhile, Arjun Ashokan was last seen in Bromance, also starring Mathew Thomas, Sangeeth Prathap, Mahima Nambiar, Shyam Mohan, and Kalabhavan Shajohn. Roshan Mathew. Roshan Mathew, who last appeared in Hindi film Ulajh, will also be seen in Shahi Kabir's next with Dileesh Pothan. 

Vishak Nair’s latest film is Officer on Duty, starring Kunchacko Boban. Ishaan Shoukath was a part of Unni Mukundan’s violent actioner Marco.

It will be interesting to see these four young actors joining hands for Chatha Pacha - Ring Of Rowdies.
