Chatha Pacha: Roshan Mathew plays the ferocious Vetri in this mass-action film

Since its announcement, Chatha Pacha: The Ring of Rowdies has generated a lot of attention especially among youngsters. The makers have now dropped a character poster of one of its lead actor, Roshan Mathew, today (December 7).

The young actor's portrayal of Vetri in this big budget action film has been revealed. His fans are excited about this since it features the star in a never-before-seen untamed avatar. He is clearly portraying a fierce wrestler alongside Arjun Ashokan and Ishaan Shoukat. He has a Macaw on his shoulder and is seen screaming inside the ring. The newly released teaser gave us a glimpse of his character.

The wrestling ring, which looks to be set in a basement, opens the action-packed movie's teaser. The fight night is drawing large crowds of spectators. Shots of Vishak Nair, Ishan Shoukath, and Roshan Mathew preparing for the game are shown, despite Arjun Ashokan's claim that they have up until now been denigrated by the locals. He says, "They must fight it out and win cheers, giving it back for all the insults and mockery they have endured up to this point." After then, the action moves to the ring, where the BGM picks up and punches hit with force.

Online trackers claim that Malayalam megastar Mammootty is making a brief appearance in Chatha Pacha as a wrestling coach. Senior actors like Siddique, Manoj K Jayan, Lakshmi Menon, Raffi, Thesni Khan, Muthumani, and Zarin Shihab are also featured in the movie, which is purportedly inspired by WWE and will release in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi as well. 

Adhvaith Nayar's film Chatha Pacha is scheduled for release in 2026. However, the precise date of the release was not disclosed. Anend C Chandran is the DOP, and the film's script was written by debutante director Adhvaith Nayar, Mohanlal's nephew. The film's music was composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.
