Chatha Pacha: The Ring of Rowdies is an upcoming Malayalam film, which revolves around a wrestling club in Fort Kochi. Debutant Adhvaith Nayar is directing the film, starring Arjun Ashokan and Roshan Mathew along with Vishak Nair and Ishan Shoukath. Malayalam news websites claim that Mammootty too would appear in the movie, as a wrestling coach. Mammootty's character would be introduced at a crucial juncture in the plot. Though initially it was stated that the Bramayugam actor would be seen in a cameo, these reports say that Mammootty would be playing a significant role that would require him to shoot for five days. However, the team of Chatha Pacha has not confirmed Mammootty’s role but an official update is expected soon.

Mammootty is currently on the sets of Mahesh Narayanan's Patriot, which also features Mohanlal in a key role. After completing the shooting schedule in Hyderabad, the actor left for Dubai.
