Chatha Pacha teaser: Arjun Ashokan, Roshan Mathew give a peek of ‘mass’ action from the ring, confirms January 2026 release

Chatha Pacha: The Ring of Rowdies has been making a buzz ever since its announcement. The makers just released the Chatha Pacha teaser, which gives a peek into ‘mass’ action that is set to break out in the ring. Actors Arjun Ashokan and Roshan Mathew lead this action-packed film, said to be inspired by WWE.

What Chatha Pacha teaser shows

The teaser of the upcoming Malayalam film Chatha Pacha opens with the wrestling ring, which appears to be set in a basement of sorts. People are flocking to watch the fight night. We get shots of Chatha Pacha’s lead stars Vishak Nair, Ishan Shoukath, Roshan Mathew gearing up for the match, even as Arjun Ashokan (in a voiceover) says that they have been looked down upon by the townspeople until now. They have to fight it out and win applause, giving it back for all insults and mockery they endured till now, he declares.

The action then shifts to the ring, as punches land with brute force and the BGM picks up. Vishak Nair’s ‘uyoo mass’ comment ends the teaser, which confirms that Chatha Pacha, helmed by Adhvaith Nayar, is set for a 2026 release. But the exact release date was not revealed. Notably, all the actors were seen in glittering outfits in the teaser, which promises a wild ride and some solid action.

Debutant director Adhvaith Nayar has also penned the script of the film, which has Anend C Chandran as the DOP. But the biggest highlight is that Chatha Pacha marks the Malayalam debut of the famed Bollywood trio of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.

Apart from the four young actors in the lead, Chatha Pacha also features senior actors such as Siddique and Manoj K Jayan, along with Lakshmi Menon, Raffi, Thesni Khan, and Muthumani. Zarin Shihab, who will be next seen with Roshan Mathew in the upcoming film Ithiri Neram, is also part of Chatha Pacha. Ithiri Neram will release in theatres on November 7. Malayalam megastar Mammootty is also rumoured to play a cameo in Chatha Pacha, with online trackers saying that he could be seen in the role of a coach. However, the makers have not confirmed this.
