The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 began on March 22, and today on Bengali New Year’s day, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) beat Lucknow SuperGiants (LSG) by 8 wickets, and made it a memorable day for the Bengalis as the match was held at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. Several celebrities from Bollywood, including Shah Rukh Khan himself were spotted cheering up the players on the field. Even SRK’s daughter Suhana Khan also attended the match.
Recently Suhana dropped some pictures of hers with best friend Ananya Panday from Eden Gardens. The Bollywood beauties are seen twinning in black and white T-shirts, paired with denim jeans, with the KKR logo imprinted on the left side. In one video, Suhana is captured with a sudden excitement, expecting a sixer. Her simple look mesmerised fans. Some even complimented her by commenting that she is the lucky charm for KKR.

However, KKR’s next match is with Rajasthan Royals (RR) on April 17. Then on April 21 with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), on April 26 with Punjabi Kings (PBKS), and on April 29 with Delhi Capitals (DC). All the upcoming matches will be held at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
However, after the immense success of her debut film The Archies, Suhana is now gearing up for King. The 23-year-old is one lucky girl, who got the chance to work with her dad SRK in her very second film. The much-anticipated movie will be Sujoy Ghosh's directorial venture. The duo will be playing father-daughter characters in King. Inspired by Leon: The Professional, King will showcase SRK's powerful on-screen presence. Although the synopsis is not revealed yet, King is scheduled to release in 2025.
On the other hand, basking in the success of Kho Gaye Hum Kaha, Ananya Panday is gearing up for The Untold Story of C Sankaran Nair, opposite Akshay Kumar. The biopic is backed by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. The story will showcase the Independence era, and Nair’s significant battles with the Britishers, particularly the infamous Jallianwala Bagh Massacre. The biopic is also scheduled to release in 2025.
