Vicky Kaushal is leaving no stone unturned to promote his upcoming period drama, Chhaava. Directed by Laxman Utekar, Vicky will be seen essaying the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. It is one of the most awaited films of 2025. The buzz around the film is sky-high, thanks to its convincing trailer. Ahead of the release, Vicky, on February 9, dropped BTS pictures and videos from his prep for Chhaava. 

A peek into Vicky Kaushal's intense prep for Chhaava

Going by the trailer, it looks like Vicky has gone all out to ace the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Even the BTS pictures and videos show his intense prep and dedication. From hitting the 100.5 kg mark, piercing his ears, learning to ride a horse to sweating it out in the gym, practicing for war sequences, and grooving to Punjabi and Marathi songs, his photo dump is simply inspirational. Along with the post, he wrote, "Good old #Chhaava prep days! See you all on 14th Feb." He even informed his fans that advance bookings are now open. Have a look:

Soon after he shared the post, fans were seen hailing his efforts. One of the fans wrote, "Chhaava ki tayari … sub pe bhaaari!" Another fan wrote, "The amount of dedication and hard work put into this movie is rare to see in the current generation. We know the story as Maharashtrians, but now the whole of India will learn about the sacrifice of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj." One of the comments also read, "This dude is such a chameleon..the way he transforms for each role is simply awesome." Others were seen dropping fire emojis in the comments section. 

More about Chhaava

Apart from Chhaava, the film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna. She will essay the role of Yesubai Bhonsale, and Akshaye will be seen as Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. Helmed by Laxman Utekar and backed by Maddock Films, Chhaava will hit theatres on 14th February 2025.
