Laxman Utekar's directorial, Chhaava, focuses on the epic biography of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. The film, which stars Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna, has been getting positive reviews from fans and critics alike. The performances of the actors were also praised by the audiences. Now, a while ago, Rajkummar Rao took to his social media account and reviewed Vicky's movie, Chhaava.
On February 17, Rajkummar Rao took to his Instagram Story and shared his review for Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava. Sharing a poster of Chhaava, Rao wrote, "#Chhaava is brilliant. @VickyKaushal09 you deserve all this love bhai and much more @LaxmanUtekar Sir take a bow." He also tagged Rashmika Mandanna, Akshaye Khanna, and others and wrote, "Amazing performances."

The film follows Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj's heroic journey as he faces challenges and stands against the Mughal Empire, highlighting his bravery and legacy.

The film is based on the Marathi novel "Chhava" by Shivaji Sawant, depicting the struggles and eventual martyrdom of Sambhaji Maharaj against the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb.
In Chhaava, Vicky Kaushal is seen as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. He was the second Chhatrapati of the Maratha Empire, ruling from 1681 to 1689. Rashmika Mandanna plays the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj's wife, Maharani Yesubai.
Akshaye Khanna played the role of Aurangzeb. Ashutosh Rana was seen in the role of Hambirrao Mohite. Diana Penty played Aurangzeb's daughter, Zinat-un-Nissa Begum. She was a Mughal princess and the second daughter of Emperor Aurangzeb and his chief consort, Dilras Banu Begum.
Apart from them, the cast also features Divya Dutta as Soyarabai Bhosale, Vineet Kumar, Santosh Juvekar, Neil Bhoopaam, and Pradeep Rawat.
Meanwhile, Laxman Utekar's movie has collected Rs. 116.5 crore in total as of now, as per Sacnilk.
