Created by Peter Morgan, The Crown is inching closer to the wrap of the iconic tale of the British royal family with the release of the final part. Thursday night marked a special day for the fans of The Crown series as the final part 2 trailer was unveiled with an incredible response from the audience.

The Crown Season 6- Part 2 trailer fulfills the promise made by the show’s creator, “A Love Letter to the Queen,” the 2:44 minute trailer impressed the critics and audience by hitting the right chords in the concluding series.

Being burdened by the duties and struck between her personal crisis and the moral dilemma – The new trailer gives an insight into the tough life of a monarch and how one decision or incident can shatter their public image.
Imelda Staunton, who plays the role of Queen Elizabeth II delivers a power-packed performance as witnessed in the nearly 3-minute trailer. In the initial few seconds, we see a distressed Prince Williams nervously smiling to the camera in the wake of the untimely demise of his mother, Princess Diana. The concluding season was split into two parts so it focuses on the multiple storylines without missing the key incidents. From the shocking death of Princess Diana to the crisis of the Queen’s reign and Prince William’s meet-cute, the trailer looks quite promising.
Fans are nostalgic after watching the trailer
After watching the final byte for the royal reenactment, fans are overwhelmed with the series and some even had a trip down memory lane. One fan wrote, “This brought tears and smiles all in one and the nostalgia of previous seasons! whoever has done this trailer deserves a massive raise!”
While another lauded Prince William’s performance and said, “The actor who plays William is fantastic! You can see the sadness in his eyes. I can't wait for this new season!”
Some fans appreciated the flashback sequences and wrote, “This is the best trailer I have seen all year!! The flashback section got me in tears and the breath at the end!!”
Cast
The center of the final part is Imelda Staunton in the dedicated role of Queen Elizabeth II. Her royal family members are played by other diligent actors. Ed McVey will star as Prince William and Luther Ford plays Prince Harry. While Dominic West and Elizabeth Debicki portray Prince Charles and Princess Diana. Other castmates include Khalid Abdalla as Dodi Fayed and Meg Bellamy as Kate Middleton.
The last six episodes of the final part will be available to stream on Netflix on December 14.
