Chithha will drop on Disney+ Hotstar later this month. An announcement about its digital premiere will be made after a few days. The film was released under the title Chinna in Telugu. Dhibu Ninan Thomas's songs and Vishal Chandrasekhar's background score are other aspects that received a thumbs up apart from the lead actors' performances.

Siddharth stirred up a hornet's nest at Chinna's pre-release event

The actor courted controversy when he spoke at the pre-release event on Chithha's Telugu version. He said that he was dejected when no one came forward to bag the movie's theatrical rights in Tollywood, contrary to the response he received from other film industries.

However, the movie opened to positive response in Telugu states as well. The makers are yet to announce the film's worldwide collection.
