The teaser of Siddharth's Chithha was unveiled a couple of days ago. The film helmed by SU Arun Kumar has left movie buffs intrigued after its promo was released. Billed as an emotional drama, it stars Nimisha Sajayan in a notable role.

It revolves around the relationship between an uncle and his school-going niece. An unexpected incident leaves their lives topsy-turvy. How they face the situation and brave all the odds forms the rest of the story. Siddharth himself has bankrolled the project under Etaki Entertainment.

It was Kamal Haasan who launched the first promo material of the film earlier this year. He also posted a video recently and spoke about what he is going to expect from Chithha. The Ulaganayagan further opened up about the relationship he shared with his niece when he was a school-going child.

Now, Vetri Maaran has spoken about the movie and wished success to the team. He said that the movie offers ample moments that are likely to connect with every audience. The filmmaker went gaga over the convincing manner in which the film has been shot and heaped praise on its various aspects.

Siddharth's second release of 2023

Chithha is the actor's second outing this year after the long-delayed Takkar which was released some time ago. The former will have a box office clash with a few Tamil movies. Jayam Ravi's Iraivan, Lawrence's Chandramukhi 2 and Ameer's Uyir Thamizukku are Kollywood films that are slated to release on September 28.

Vijay Antony's Ratham and Harish Kalyan's Parking which were also supposed to arrive on the same day have been postponed. The trailer of Chithha is expected to be unveiled soon.
