The much-awaited release of Ponniyin Selvan 2 is happening this Friday and the film's lead actors are busy promoting the movie in different cities across the country. They will be back in Chennai this Thursday and fans are looking forward to knowing if they are coming up with some surprises.
The advance booking for the magnum opus began a couple of days ago. Going by the current trend, it looks like the movie might not surpass the day one figures attained by part one last year. Despite cinephiles coming up with various theories on it, film enthusiasts hope that a positive word of mouth could easily help the audience throng to theatres.
Meanwhile, the likes of Vikram, Karthi, Trisha and Jayam Ravi have been taking to their social media pages to post pics from the promotional tours regularly, leaving their fans excited. The latest post of Vikram on Twitter has been winning the hearts of all movie buffs.
He posted a couple of pictures and captioned the post with "siblings". The first picture features him along with Trisha and Ravi in the roles of Aditha Karikalan, Kundavai and Arunmozhi Varman respectively. The three characters are siblings in the Ponniyin Selvan novel penned by Kalki.
Interestingly, the second picture he posted has him, Karthi and Ravi stylishly posing for a photo clicked in Mumbai. Fans of Karthi and Ravi have been going gaga over Vikram's generosity in addressing his co-stars as siblings. As always, Chiyaan fans are over the moon enjoying different pics being posted by their matinee idol.
The other day, Ravi turned emotional while he was promoting the movie in Bengaluru. Vikram, Trisha and Karthi came together to pacify him and hugged him, leaving onlookers elated with their gesture.
