A few days ago, makers of Christopher, starring Mammootty in the titular role, teased movie buffs with a poster without revealing the actor's face on it. Now, they have come up with the official first look of the film which has the Mega Star sitting on a chair, sporting a serious expression.

The dark poster doesn't reveal much of his outfit and the surroundings. A police walkie-talkie is seen placed on a table near his chair. The veteran actor will be donning the role of a cop once again in the film which is being helmed by Unnikrishnan. A working still from the project was leaked on social media a few days ago.

The poster of Christopher comes with the tagline "biography of a vigilante cop" and the caption that appears beneath reads "Where the law stops, justice begins". The movie is the second collaboration between Mammootty and Unnikrishnan after Pramani which was released more than a decade ago.

RD Illuminations is bankrolling the movie which has story and screenplay penned by Udaykrishna. Faiz Siddik and Manoj are handling cinematography and editing respectively for the film which is touted as a mystery thriller.

Supreme Sundar, who composed impressive fight sequences in Tovino Thomas' recent outing Thallumala, has been roped in to choreograph action scenes. He was the stunt director for Mammootty's Bheeshma Parvam and forthcoming project Rorschach as well. Justin Varghese is composing music for Christopher which has Amala Paul and Aishwarya Lekshmi among others essaying important characters.

The film is expected to be released towards the end of the year and will be Mammootty's fifth outing in 2022 after Bheeshma Parvam, CBI 5, Puzhu and Rorschach.
