CID 2 has been serving twists after twists, leading fans to experience a rollercoaster ride. The CID team, aka Inspectors Daya and Abhijeet (Dayanand Shetty and Aditya Srivastava), are unaware of the fact that ACP Pradyuman (Shivaji Satam) is alive. Amid Parth Samathaan's exit confirmation from CID 2, a new promo shows Daya having a sixth sense that Pradyuman is alive and he is around them.

Sony Entertainment Television shared a new promo of CID 2 where Daya senses that ACP Pradyuman is alive but still cannot find him. It also shows that Daya is discussing with ACP Ayushmann (Parth Samthaan) and other team members. ACP Prayuman's return to CID 2 is much-awaited as the comment section of the video has fans expressing their excitement.

Fans react to CID 2 new promo

Reacting to the video, one fan said, "Excited for ACP sir’s comeback Finallyyy." Another one commented, "Acp Sir will back soon." A third fans said, "Interesting episodes coming this weekend..excited to watch." "ACP Pradyuman sir is back @shivaaji_satam Can’t wait!!" read one of the comments. 

Parth Samthaan confirms to exit CID 2

In a new interview with Pinkvilla, Parth confirmed that he will leave CID 2 as ACP Ayushmann. The actor said, "It’s been an absolute pleasure to be a part of a cult show like CID, even if it’s just for a brief period. I was on board for a few episodes only, a guest appearance, but later got extended for a couple of months."

Parth also shared that he has other work commitments lined up, hence he won’t be continuing for long. "But yes, I’m grateful for all the love and support the audience has shown during my brief stint," he said.
