CID 2: Fans celebrate ACP Pradyuman's return to the show with a twist; Call him 'incredible performer'

After a sudden and brief break, Shivaji Satam is back in action in CID 2 as ACP Pradyuman, and fans can't keep calm. ACP Pradyuman is indeed the soul of the show, and when his character was gone for a few days, fans expressed their disappointment on social media. Now that he is back, fans took to their X accounts to share their happiness. Let's check out! 

Fans' reactions to ACP Pradyuman's return

ACP Pradyuman is back in CID 2 but with a twisted plot. Daya informed his team, including Abhijeet, that ACP Pradyuman is alive, however, ACP Pradyuman pointed a gun at Daya and told him that he did not know Daya and shot. 

Reacting to the episode along with the return of ACP Pradyuman, one fan wrote, "Our home/ world too This is really very emotional."

Another said, "Indeed, when the boss decides to switch things up, it turns out to be pure fire! Epi was full of surprises & goosebumps."

A third fan wrote, "@shivaajisatam sir what an incredible performer you are! I was completely surprised by that seamless switch. You proved that tables can turn with that whole sequence of Barbosa calling you "boss."

CID 2 was released on December 21, and it airs every Saturday and Sunday at 10 p.m. The weekends are now sorted for fans as their favourite TV series is back.

Shivaji Satam, Dayanand Shetty, and Aditya Srivastava are reprising their roles as ACP Pradyuman and Inspectors Abhijeet and Daya. Another cast Narendra Gupta, has returned in the role as Dr. R. P. Salunkhe. Meanwhile, Dinesh Phadish, who played the role of Inspector Fredricks "Freddy", passed away in 2023. Notably, a new character, ACP Ayushman, was cast in CID 2, played by Parth Samthaan. However, Parth also confirmed that he will quit the show due to his other work commitments.

Speaking to Pinkvilla, Parth confirmed his exit and said, "It’s been an absolute pleasure to be a part of a cult show like CID, even if it’s just for a brief period. I was on board for a few episodes only, a guest appearance, but later got extended for a couple of months."
