CID 2: Shraddha Musale aka Dr. Tarika to be back in new season following Parth Samthaan's exit

CID 2 has been facing several changes, such as the return and exit of new and old casts. ACP Pradyuman (Shivaji Satam), who had a sudden break from the show, has returned, while Parth Samthaan, who joined as ACP Ayushman, exited. On the other hand, Dr Salunkhe, aka Narendra Gupta, has also quit the show. Now, as per reports, Shraddha Musale is all set to return to CID 2. 

Dr. Tarika to return to CID 2

GosspisTV confirmed that Shraddha Musale will return to the popular crime thriller show, CID 2. She will reprise her iconic Dr. Tarika character. A picture of the actress from the sets of CID Season 2 has gone viral on the internet.

Fans react to Dr. Tarika's return news

Dr. Tarika is one of the most-loved characters in CID. Naturally, the news of her return excited fans. One fan wrote on X, “Wow! I am so happy and excited for Dr Tarika’s entry into the show." Another one wrote, “I’m so happy now."

In CID, fans have been shipping Aditya Srivastava's Inspector Abhijeet and Shraddha Musle's Dr. Tarika romantically and want them to get married. In earlier episodes of the first season, their on-screen chemistry used to melt fans' hearts. Now it will be interesting to watch how the plot unfolds between Dr. Tarika and Abhijeet. 

Apart from her, actress Janvi Chheda Gopalia, who portrayed Inspector Shreya, also made her comeback to the show. Janvi confirmed the news with a Instagram post. She posted a photo from her vanity van, and wrote in the caption, “To new beginnings. Or rather, picking up where I left off… Yeah, that’s more poetic!"

Parth Samthaan receives farewell from CID team

Parth Samthaan, who finished shooting for his last episode for CID 2, has received a heartfelt farewell from CID team including Shivaji Satam. He cut cakes and enjoyed his timing with the cast and crew. 

Speaking to Pinkvilla, Parth confirmed that he will quit CID 2 as ACP Ayushman. The actor said, "It’s been an absolute pleasure to be a part of a cult show like CID, even if it’s just for a brief period. I was on board for a few episodes only, a guest appearance, but later got extended for a couple of months."
