CID: Dr Salunkhe aka Narendra Gupta quits after Parth Samthaan's final goodbye with Shivaji Satam, Dayanand Shetty

Hours after Parth Samthaan bid final goodbye to his CID role in a private yet grand manner, another actor was touted to be out. This time it was from the OG cast, and happened to be Narendra Gupta, who plays Dr. Salunkhe on the show. The fans seriously questioned the makers' choice and especially the timing, given how Parth just had his final goodbye with Shivaji Satam in the midst.

Narendra Gupta aka Dr. Salunkhe quits CID?

The latest turn on CID is Shivaji Satam's ACP Pradhyuman asking Parth Samthaan's ACP Ayushmann who was the traitor in their midst. Turns out, it was Dr. Salunkhe. Played by Narendra Gupta, the character is put behind bars and this is assumed to be a clear indication that he is out of the show. Will he return? Nobody knows yet, but fans are clearly upset over the new development!

Parth Samthaan's final exit from CID

Parth Samthaan bid his final goodbye to CID, and shared the viral video on his Instagram handle. There, he was seen cutting a two-tier white cake with a candle. He also opened a box full of cupcakes with messages. 'One man army' was one of the messages for ACP Ayushmann. Interestingly, Shivaji Satam walked in right after and greeted Parth. The two also got into an intense discussion, probably over the very decision-making of Parth entering the world of CID. The video's cover image itself was a selfie of Paarth with the veteran actor.

Dayanand Shetty, who plays the role of Daya in CID, was spotted at what appeared to be Parth's house. He, along with a few other cast members of CID, showed up to greet Parth. Aditya Srivatsava, who plays the role of Abhijeet, posed for a photo from the sets and made it to the video, too.

Shivaji Satam had taken a short break from CID since his son was visiting him from US, and the veteran actor needed a break. The makers soon decided to rope in a fresh face and turn him into an ACP. Thus entered Parth. The actor played the role of ACP Ayushmann and some time into it, Shivaji Satam re-entered CID as OG ACP Pradhyuman. That is when Parth exited the show.
