CONFIRMED: Salman Khan all set to do a film with Karan Johar

The day and date of 16 October 1998 saw the release of one of Bollywood’s all-time blockbusters in the form of ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’. The film starred Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Anupam Kher, Archana Puran Singh and others. The surprise packet of the film was however, Salman Khan. Even though his entry in the film happens late, but he went onto have an ever-lasting impression amongst the audience, who till date, cannot get over his performance. With this film, Karan Johar went onto prove that he is definitely here to stay.

After the smashing success of ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan did quite a few films together. But the question that was always playing in the mind of the audiences was that when will Karan Johar announce his film with Salman Khan! For all the humongous number of Salman Khan fans out there, here is the news that you all had been waiting for many years now. The good news is that Salman Khan is now all set to make a film with Karan Johar.

The same was confirmed by Salman Khan himself in the much-talked about recent episode of the Rajat Sharma hosted ‘Aap Ki Adaalat . By his own confession, Salman Khan confirmed about doing a film with Karan Johar. Rajat Sharma asked Salman Khan, “After having played the role of a supporting actor in ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, which you had done many years ago, you will be doing a film with Karan Johar now?”. To which, Salman Khan replied, “Yes. What had happened was that, Saif Ali Khan, Chandrachur Singh and others had refused to do that role. My sister Alvira’s friend had spoken to Alvira about the film. That’s when Alvira told me that I must do the film. Then, they came to make me hear the film’s first half, wherein I was not even there in the film’s first half. I told them, why are you wasting your time... I am doing that film. My sister told me to do the film. She is a friend of yours. I will do the film”.

While it has now been confirmed by the man himself- Salman Khan, what remains to be seen is that, when will Karan Johar make the official announcement. Ever since the fans got to know about this piece of news, speculations have already started about the name of the leading lady of the film!
