Conjuring Kannappan: Regina Cassandra and Sathish's next is a horror fantasy

AGS Entertainment's next production is titled Conjuring Kannappan. The film stars Regina Cassandra and Sathish in the lead, and is directed by debutant Selvin Raj Xavier. He has also penned the screenplay, story and dialogues for the film.

Selvin Raj Xavier on his maiden venture
The production house shared an official statement about their upcoming project. According to the statement, the film's director Selvin Raj Xavier, said, "The film will give the audience a different new experience and will provide them with good entertainment. We have made it a compelling mixture of comedy, horror and fantasy. The film will appeal to all age groups." Selvin had earlier worked as assistant to Chimbu Deven and Sumanth Radhakrishnan.

Sathish shares his excitement
On the occasion of Vinayagar Chaturthi today, actor Sathish, who plays the lead, took to his social media handle, to share his excitement. He wrote, "My Next Movie Titled #ConjuringKannappan Dreams come true #AGS24 Produced by @Ags_production Directed by @selvinrajxavier (sic)."

AGS Entertainment's 24th production
The production house last bankrolled Pradeep Ranganathan and Ivana's Love Today. Conjuring Kannappan will be their 24th production. Archana Kalpathi is the creative producer of the film, while SM Venkat Manickam is the executive producer. The film is being made with state-of-the-art technology.

The star cast includes Nassar, Saranya Ponvannan, Anand Raj, VTV Ganesh, Redin Kingsley and Namo Narayanan, to name a few. Aishwarya Kalpathi of AGS Entertainment wrote, "As a production house, we take it upon ourselves to make sure we launch the best talent, always. @selvinrajxavier is no exception. Our second with @actorsathish and an amazing ensemble cast. A full on family entertainer!#ConjuringKanappan coming soon! #ContentisKing (sic)." The film is expected to hit screens later this year.

 It is to be noted that AGS Production is also bankrolling Thalapathy 68, which is their landmark 25th film.
