Connect: Here's when the teaser of Nayanthara, Ashwin Saravanan's horror film will be unveiled

It was a year ago that the makers of Connect, starring Nayanthara in the lead, announced the project and unveiled its first look poster. The intriguing poster hinted at the film's genre, too. Tipped as a horror flick, the makers then roped in Sathyaraj.

Later, they brought Bollywood veteran Anupam Kher on board, leaving film buffs excited. The senior actor is returning to Kollywood after more than a decade's hiatus. He will be seen essaying the role of a pastor in the project. The movie has been bankrolled by Vignesh Shivan's Rowdy Pictures. The film will be the first project of Nayan and Vignesh to release in theatres post their wedding and parenthood.

The team has now announced that the teaser of Connect will be out on November 18. They have also unveiled a new poster of the movie featuring Nayanthara praying to Jesus in a dark room. The film is expected to have the actress essaying dual roles in it.

Ashwin Saravanan, who made heads turn with his multilingual flick Game Over (streaming on Netflix), has helmed the movie. Its story and screenplay has been penned by himself along with Kaavya Ramkumar.

Manikantan Krishnamachary has cranked the camera for Connect which has music composed by Prithvi Chandrasekhar. Richard Kevin has helmed editing while Sreeraman and Siva Sankar have jointly worked on the film's art direction. Real Satish has choreographed action scenes for the project.

Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal (streaming on Disney+ Hotstar), which was released earlier this year, was the previous project which brought Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan together. The rom-com had the latter directing the former for the second time. Film lovers are now curious to know the release date of Connect.
