Coolie: Cricket match, audio trailer launch ft Rajinikanth speech; Makers string perfect line of promotions

The makers of Coolie have already begun with the promotions for the film, and have perfectly lined up activities, that can only increase the buzz around the Rajinikanth-starrer. With star names already involved in the project, and written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the team behind Coolie, production banner Sun Pictures have come up with different strategies to promote the film.

Coolie makers line up exciting promotions:

Coolie is an upcoming Tamil film which will see actor Rajinikanth collaborating with filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj for the first time. The film is slated for a theatrical release on August 14. With only a couple of weeks to go for the release, production banner Sun Pictures which is backing Coolie, has already begun promotions for the film.

With the release of singles like Chikitu, Powerhouse and Monica, the makers have already established a strong social media presence. Added to this, Lokesh Kanagaraj begun promotions in form of interviews while Anirudh Ravichander is gearing up for one. Apart from this Coolie makers have scheduled an audio and trailer launch event on August 2, while a TV programme in which the crew of Coolie will play a cricket match is scheduled to be telecast.

Coolie has been perfectly aligned so that every section of the audience is aware of the film, if not for the star ensemble which features actors Upendra, Aamir Khan, Nagarjuna and others.

Starring Hrithik Roshan and Junior NTR in the lead roles, the film will have a release on August 14. The release of Coolie on IMAX screens are, however, not yet decided, given the Hindi film has already taken over maximum screens.
