Salman Khan ends the year with a bang by celebrating his birthday on December 27. This year, the superstar is turning 58 and will be ringing in his special day with his family and friends at his farmhouse. Salman had two releases this year: Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and Tiger 3. Now, people are waiting for the superstar to announce his upcoming films. Interestingly, that's the plan for Khan, along with his birthday celebrations.

Speculations surrounding birthday announcements

As per reports in Mid Day, speculation has it that Salman's 58th birthday will see the major announcement from two of his director dosts, Sooraj Barjatya and Kabir Khan, who are reportedly developing a film with Sallu. Rumour has it that Salman will be at the farmhouse for the year-end celebrations. For that reason, a small group of knowledgeable individuals is being very careful not to divulge any information prior to that. Everything is being kept under wraps until Bhai's birthday, when it will finally be revealed.

Speaking of his earlier this year released films, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan received negative reviews from both critics and fans, whereas Tiger 3 has, despite receiving mixed reviews, become a box office smash.

Salman Khan's perspective on success and failure

Earlier, during a media interaction, when Salman was asked about how he deals with failures, the superstar stated, "I don’t. Once I wrap up a film, it’s for the audience to like or dislike it. I, of course, feel happy when my films are appreciated and bad when they aren’t. But it is important to remember that when a film does well, especially beyond the opening weekend, the credit goes to the writers, DOPs, and the rest of the crew. But when it bombs, both actors and directors must take the blame. Either way, the aim should always be."

Salman will also appear in The Bull, a movie that Karan Johar is producing. Confirming the same, the star said, "I am doing Karan Johar’s The Bull. It’s an inspired film, and there will be lots of action."
