Salman Khan is back at creating the usual euphoria with his movies. The Bollywood superstar recently saw the release of the threequel of his hit franchise titled Tiger 3. The movie, which also stars Katrina Kaif, went on to bring a huge number of footfalls and is on its way to glory with numbers that are already over Rs 450 Crores. But this success has come after a couple of films that underperformed, including Antim: The Final Truth and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ko Jaan. Salman now blames the discounted price for the failure of the two.

Antim was released after the lockdown was lifted, and the world was moving back to normalcy, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan hit the big screens right after Pathaan in April 2023. However, both movies were labeled flops by the time they ended their theatrical run. Salman Khan, as per Indian Express, has now broken his silence on the failure of the two films and blamed the discounted prices.

Salman Khan said, “When these films were released, people were not going to theatres. Moreover, we didn’t do blockbuster prices; we were going for popular prices. Our box office numbers were lower in those films, but we focused on saving the audience’s money. How much did you watch Tiger 3 at? Rs 600, 1000?”

Salman Khan further added that while the Box Office collection of Antim and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ko Jaan was low, he made sure that his fans and the audience didn’t waste their money. “For Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and Antim, our prices were not over Rs 250. Ek toh acha karo bhai. Humare number kam aa rahe hai, lekin audiences ka paisa bach raha hai (We earned less, but we saved the audience's money in that process. We did a good deed). If Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan would have released today, the numbers would have been a lot more than what they were,” he added.
