Crazxy Box Office collection day 2: Sohum Shah's film continues minting merely Rs 1 crore per day

Sohum Shah's Crazxy has continued its Rs. 1 crore mark at the Box Office. The movie barely touched a crore on day 1, and similar is the case on day 2, which was its first Saturday. Seeing slight growth, the Box Office collections went from Rs. 1 crore to Rs. 1.15 crore, which is not much growth for the first weekend Box Office. Crazxy earned merely Rs. 1.15 crore on day 2. This is not much growth from day 1, where the movie barely touched Rs. 1 crore. The current net total for two days of Crazxy release is at Rs. 2.15 crore.

Hard time ahead for Crazxy

Given how Crazxy is still earning barely above a crore per day, the movie will be faced with hurdles on the way. Reported to be made on a budget of Rs. 20 crore, Crazxy will have to do a lot to pick up and with its current trend, we do not see it happening. Unless by some miracle, Crazxy can go beyond Rs. 5 crore mark, then there might be some hope for the movie but otherwise, it is rejected by the audiences. It is to be noted that the film relied on Sohum Shah's Tumbbad craze heavily and that might have backfired since the themes of the movies and sentiments associated with them are different.

Chhaava craze further impacting Crazxy

The biggest reason for Crazxy downfall is that it has released at a time when a story like Chhaava is winning over the movie-going audiences. Vicky Kaushal's film tells the tale of a Maratha warrior who was proud of his legacy. The film is based on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's son Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj's story. The performances in particular have enchanted the viewers and Crazxy does not seem to keep up with the craze. Thus, Chhaava has minted over Rs. 400 crore within half a month of its release while Crazxy has barely seen Rs. 10 crore even being closer to the weekend coming to an end. But, things could change and Sunday Box Office collections would give a clearer picture about the future of this film at the Box Office.
