Starring Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Kriti Sanon, Crew is one of the most-awaited films of the year. After a long wait, the makers finally released the trailer of the film on Friday and it has received praise from everyone. However, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has now directed the makers to make some changes to it, majorly replacing the cuss words with similar terms.
Crew is all set to release in cinemas on March 29. In the trailer, Tabu's character is seen cursing multiple times, however, those scenes have reportedly been altered in the theatrical cut of the movie.
Tabu, who plays an air hostess in the film, can be seen saying "Baith ch***ye" in a scene in the trailer. Now, the final film will showcase the same scene where the word 'ch***ye' has been replaced by 'bhootiye.' Similarly, another scene showcases her saying 'har***zaade', which is now been replaced with 'ameerzaade' and 'har***iyon' has been changed to 'kameeno.'
The narrative of the film revolves around the lives of three flight attendants Tabu, Kareena, and Kriti, who work for Kohinoor Airlines. But the real twist happens when their company faces bankruptcy and these ladies wonder how will they get their money through salaries. The trailer of the film looks fun. Apart from the three leading ladies, the film also stars Diljit Dosanjh and Kapil Sharma in important roles.
Ekta Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor join forces again for Crew, after their 2018 film, Veere Di Wedding. During a conversation with News18, Rhea earlier spoke about the film and called it 'the most ambitious film' she has ever made. She said, "When you work with Tabu and Kareena, there’s this sense of ease. They do everything with so much effortlessness. They’re so professional and freaking good."
"And the most important thing is that they’re good comedians. That was just a treat to watch on the set," she added.
Crew will be released in the theatres on March 29.
