What happens when classy women work on a sassy entertainer for a massy film? This is the vibe you get from the Crew trailer. Starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles, this film will showcase the lives of three air hostesses who get trapped after looting gold biscuits for luxury. The film is produced by Ekta Kapoor and will be released on Netflix after its successful theatrical run. Before watching the film, have a look at how social media users have reviewed the trailer.

Netizens feel Tabu, Kriti Sanon, Kareena Kapoor starrer is a ‘cheap version of Kingfisher saga’

However, a certain section of social media users felt that that film might turn out to be a cheap version of the Kingfisher saga

One social media user took to microblogging site X and said, “Kareena, Kriti Sanon and Tabu starrer Crew looks entertaining. Can't wait for this one on 29th March. Clearly inspired by Vijay Mallya and Kingfisher Airlines.”

“Red uniform. Kohinoor airlines. Gold thief. Airlines bankrupt. Is Crew showing Kingfisher saga?” said an Instagrammer.

For those who don’t know the saga, let us explain it to you in a sentence. In a significant financial setback for India, between 2009 and 2012, Vijay Mallya-owned Kingfisher Airlines incurred a historic loss of Rs 6,000 crore and accumulated a debt of Rs 7,000 crore.
