CSK vs GT: Kollywood celebs elated with Chennai Super Kings' stunning victory over Gujarat Titans

The much-awaited IPL 2023 Final match held between CSK and GT at Ahmedabad yesterday was nothing short of a huge feast for cricket aficionados. Gujarat Tigers, who seemed confident from the beginning, scored 214 and Chennai Super Kings, who went on to bat after an unexpected rain, clinched the trophy unexpectedly.

Their target was set as 171 and they had 15 overs to achieve the same. With five wickets in hand, Jadeja scored 10 runs in the last two balls, leaving CSK fans and other cricket buffs excited like never before. This is the fifth time CSK has emerged as champions, making Dhoni fans proud again.

Back in Chennai, Kollywood fans have been taking to their social media page to express excitement on the stunning victory. Director Venkat Prabhu, a hardcore stan for CSK, took to Twitter to post, "Best ever final!! Best ever win!! Love u @ChennaiIPL sir @imjadeja take a bow @IPL we are the champions!!! Can t get better than this!!! (sic)."

An overjoyed Trisha tweeted, "CSK…..I am dumbstruck. Yassssss yasssssss yassssss (sic)." Radhika Sarathkumar posted, "You don’t make MEN like @msdhoni , whatta a leadership and control. Congratulations #CSK #cskfans . I totally agree with #MSDhoni𓃵 the easiest thing is to walk away. U are a class apart (sic)."

Varalaxmi Sarathkumar felt the match was worth waiting for three days and that the tension, madness were for one team..one man..Dhoni. Sathish tweeted, "We Went To Ahmedabad With Confidence & Love….And Return With The Cup (sic)."
