Arvind Swami plays the antagonist in Custody which stars Krithi Shetty as the female lead. Sarath Kumar and Priyamani among others play vital characters in the project which marks the Tamil and Telugu debut of Chaitanya and Venkat respectively.
Ilaiyaraaja and Yuvan Shankar Raja are composing music for Custody; this is the second time the father-son duo have teamed up for scoring music after Vijay Sethupathi-starrer Maamanithan.
