D54: Dhanush-Vignesh Raja film wrapped up; slated for release in February 2026

We had earlier reported that actor Dhanush will be teaming up with filmmaker Vignesh Raja of Por Thozhil fame, for a film tentatively called D54. In the latest about the project, the shooting has been wrapped up and is scheduled to hit theatres early next year.

D54 shoot update and release plans

D54 is the tentatively titled film in the line-up of Dhanush. The film was announced this year, and had gone on floors soon. According to the makers, the shooting has been wrapped up for D54. The release is expected to be sometime in February 2026.

D54 is written and directed by Vignesh Raja in his second directorial. He made his debut in 2023 with crime thriller Por Thozhil which went on to become a blockbuster. Vignesh Raja has written D54 along with his Por Thozhil writer Alfred Prakash. A title for the film is yet to be announced.

In D54, Dhanush will be pairing up with Premalu fame Mamitha Baiju. Others part of the film includes KS Ravikumar, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Karunas, Jayaram, Pritivi Pandiraj, among others. The music for D54 is scored by GV Prakash, and Theni Eshwar has shot. Sreejith Sarang is the editor.
