Dada: Ganesh K Babu signs his next with THIS production house after the Kavin-starrer garners positive reviews

Debutant filmmaker Ganesh K Babu's Dada, which carried good expectations among cinephiles after its trailer release, has opened to positive response. The chemistry between lead actors Kavin and Aparna Das, engaging screenplay and relatable emotions are a few highlights of the project which was released on Friday.

Kollywood exhibitors are looking forward to seeing if the movie can pull off something like what Love Today achieved a few months ago. Both the films primarily targeted young audience and Dada has ample elements which are required to impress moviegoers. The film's crew members have been taking to social media to express excitement on the unanimous reviews it has been garnering.

Interestingly, director Ganesh has surprised everyone by signing his next project with Lyca Productions. The production house announced the same and posted a picture of Ganesh and Tamil Kumaran from Lyca posing for a photo.

Movie buffs point out that a new director signing his sophomore film with a leading production house on the release day of his debut movie is a rare phenomenon. They are now eager to know about his second project's details. Kavin's fans are curious to know if their matinee idol will join hands with Ganesh again.  

VTV Ganesh, Pradeep Anthony and Fouziee among others are seen in notable roles in Dada which has music composed by Jen Martin and cinematography handled by Ezhil Arasu. Kathiresh Alagesan's editing and Sandy's dance choreography have also been receiving praise from film lovers.

Meanwhile, Lyca Productions, which is busy with projects like Lalsalam and Chandramukhi 2, is expected to make an announcement on AK 62 soon.
