Dada: Kavin, Aparna Das elated over unexpected call from Dhanush, the Vaathi star heaps praise on the young stars

Debutant director Ganesh K Babu's Dada has turned out to be a hit venture and he has signed his next project with Lyca Productions. Kavin and Aparna Das, who played lead roles in the rom-com, had taken to their social media pages to express happiness and gratitude to the audience.

The young stars are now elated over an unexpected appreciation from Dhanush. The Vaathi actor contacted them on phone and heaped praises on their performances. Kavin took to his Twitter page to say that receiving appreciation from someone like Dhanush was a surreal moment for him and that it took him some time to come to terms with the reality.

The overwhelmed Kavin mentioned that it was indeed a huge fanboy moment for him and wished success to Vaathi. He also expressed his eagerness to watch more great cinema from the senior star.

On the other hand, Aparna in her thanksgiving tweet, said that he had always looked up to the Thiruchitrambalam star and couldn't believe that he appreciated her performance in Dada. She added that the words of appreciation meant a lot and that it will inspire her in her journey.

S Ambeth Kumar has produced the film under the banner of Olympia Movies and this is the third Tamil hit of 2023 after Thunivu and Varisu. Jen Martin's music and Ezhil Arasu K's visuals garnered appreciation from moviegoers while Praveen Antony and VTV Ganesh stood out with their respective roles in the film.

Cinephiles are now looking forward to the digital release of Dada. An announcement on the same is expected from makers anytime soon.
