Dada teaser: Kavin, Aparna Das stand out with their impressive screen presence in this fun-filled promo video

Kavin, who was seen in a notable role in a few movies, went on to garner lots of fans after his stint with Bigg Boss Tamil a few years ago. His film Lift, which had a direct OTT release in 2021, was eagerly awaited by his admirers, and was a testimony to his fan base among youngsters.

It was announced a few days ago that the teaser of his next outing, Dada, will be out today. The one-minute promo video of the Ganesh K Babu directorial has the actor playing a young IT employee in the movie.

How he impregnates his lover and becomes a dad unexpectedly forms the crux of the story. Aparna Das plays the female lead in the film which features a bevy of actors including Bhagyaraj, Aishwarya Baskaran, VTV Ganesh and Pradeep Antony. S Ambeth Kumar has bankrolled the movie under the banner of Olympia Movies.

Ezhil Arasu K has cranked the camera for the project which has music composed by Jen Martin. Kathiresh Alagesan and Shanmuugaraja have handled editing and art direction respectively. Knife Naren has helmed action scenes while Sandy has choreographed dance moves. 

The expressions of Kavin and Aparna Das are highlights of the teaser which has offered a glimpse into the movie's story. The film's release date is likely to be announced soon. Red Giant Movies has acquired its theatrical rights in Tamil Nadu.

Kavin will next be seen in Oor Kuruvi which has Vignesh Shivan's Rowdy Pictures bankrolling it. Dada is the second Tamil outing of Aparna who made a notable debut in Kollywood with Beast last year.
