Dahaad 2: Sonakshi Sinha and Reema Kagti reunite for gripping thriller | Series to go on floors in December

Dahaad is one of the most-loved thriller series among entertainment fans. The series is returning with a second season. Dahaad 2 will see the return of Sonakshi Sinha as SI Anjali Bhaati. Speaking about the director of the series, Reema Kagti, is reuniting with Sonakshi for Dahaad 2. The filmmaker made numerous headlines for directing Superboys of Malegaon. Meanwhile, the first season of Dahaad was also directed by Reema along with Ruchika Oberoi.

As per Pinkvilla, Reema Kagti has locked the screenplay for Dahaad 2, and is looking forward to taking it on the floors in the month of December 2025. The report also mentioned that the script is locked, and the web series is presently in the pre-production stage.

"While Sonakshi Sinha will be back to play the part of SI Anjali Bhaati, the casting for other characters is underway. Much like Dahaad, the second season too will feature a strong actor as the antagonist and the casting for same is underway," it added. 

Dahaad 2 will also be a thriller set against the backdrop of Indian society, and Sonakshi is excited to reprise the role of a tough cop. Like the first season, Dahaad 2 will also premiere on Amazon Prime Video, which will be available for existing OTTplay Premium users.

About Dahaad

Dahaad is about Sub-inspector Anjali Bhaati (Sonakshi Sinha), who investigates the mysterious deaths of women in Mandawa, Rajasthan, aiming to uncover a serial killer hiding in plain sight, Anand Swarnakar (Vijay Varma). The cast also includes Gulshan Devaiah and Sohum Shah as fellow officers.
