2024 has come in with a tsunami of content, and there is hardly any week without a whole lot of excitement for movies, as we have already seen a gazillion movies and shows. The interesting part is that most of these movies are trying to bring content that is unique and experimental. Be it Fighter, Kiran Rao’s Laapataa Ladies, and more. While the former two are now streaming on Netflix after a successful theatrical run, there is yet another film making its way to Netflix as we speak, and it is none other than Bejoy Nambiar's much-discussed directorial thriller drama Dange. The movie that hit theatres earlier this year is now available for the audience to watch in the comforts of their home. Read on to know everything you should about this update of the day.

Dange Hits Streaming:

For the unversed, starring Harshavardhan Rane and Ehan Bhat in leading roles, Dange was released on the big screen on March 1, 2024. It opened to mixed reviews, but the most common observation was the brilliant filmmaking technique. Fans of Bejoy Nambiar who have been waiting to catch the movie on streaming because they couldn't go to the theatres can now breathe a sigh of relief, as the movie is now streaming on Netflix. Yes, you read that right, the film has already dropped on the streaming giant and is available to stream with your subscription.

Dange was released on Netflix on April 26, almost two months after the theatrical release. Announcing the release of the movie, Netflix wrote on their social media handle, “Are you ready to witness the biggest danga of the year? Dange now streaming on Netflix!”.

About Dange:

The action drama thriller is directed by Bejoy Nambiar, who is known for his quirky directorial style. Shot simultaneously in Hindi and Tamil, Dange stars Harshavardhan Rane and Ehan Bhat in the Hindi version, and Arjun Das and Kalidas Jayaram in the Tamil version. The movie also features Saswata Chatterjee, Nikita Dutta, and TJ Bhanu in supporting roles.

The film revolves around Yuvaraj, aka Yuva, who is admitted to St. Martin's University only to realize that his friend from the past, who is now a rival, Xavier aka Zee, is at the same university and is his senior. Yuva and Zee are now at loggerheads, and their war is what Dange is all about. The two are fighting over past grievances and seek revenge on each other.

Dange is now streaming on Netflix. Stay tuned to OTTplay for more information on this and everything else from the world of streaming and films.
