Darling Krishna continues to be associated with the rom-com genre and the remaining half of 2023 is likely to enunciate this aspect. While his previous releases of the year, namely Mr. Bachelor and Love Birds, have failed to bring him success, the upcoming lineup of films could offer the respite that he has been on the lookout for.

At this point, it would seem that Darling Krishna has three releases in the pipeline. The most promising of the lot is Shashank's Kousalya Supraja Rama which we believe will arrive in cinemas sometime in July. The film, billed as The Tale of a Real Man, attempts to break the conventions associated with male protagonists seen in cinema and instead offers an emotional, relatable take on the subject. Brinda Acharya and Sudha Belawadi, too, star in the film.

Krishna also has Deepak Aras' Sugar Factory waiting to be released. The film, a sprightly rom-com, has not one but three leading ladies in the form of Sonal Monteiro, Advithi Shetty and Shilpa Shetty.

And the third film part of the Darling Krishna 2023 release roster is Deepak Gangadhar's Love Me or Hate Me. The film also stars Sandalwood's Dimple Queen Rachita Ram in the lead and the latest updates inform us that the film is set for a September 2023 release. Deepak Gangadhar, having previously worked as an associate director and film distributor, makes his directorial debut.

Well, it does seem that the Love Mocktail 2 actor-director has a packed second half of 2023 but one surely hopes to see all his releases spread out well for favourable results. In the recent past, audiences have come to question Krishna's repetitiveness as a 'rom-com only' actor and have expressed a strong desire to see him in diverse roles. Hopefully, his next slate of releases makes a better impression and rekindles the audience's faith in him.
