Reputed producer Ram Talluri is bankrolling the film under SRT Entertainments

Vishwak Sen is going all out to promote his next film, Das Ka Dhamki, the mass entertainer that he has headlined, directed and produced. While the film, in which he’s paired alongside Nivetha Pethuraj, gears up for a release on March 22, he has given a nod to another script to be helmed by a debutant. Newcomer Ravi Teja Mullapudi will be directing the film, formally launched in Hyderabad today.
Popular producer Ram Talluri is bankrolling the film under SRT Entertainments. Meenakshi Chaudhary, who shot to fame with her appearances in Ichata Vahanamulu Niluparadu, Khiladi and Hit 2, plays the female lead in the untitled film, tentatively titled #VS10. Producer Ram Talluri's wife Rajini sounded the clapboard, while writer BVS Ravi switched on the camera at the launch.
The muhurtam shot was filmed on the lead pair Vishwak Sen and Meenakshi Chaudhary while director Ravi Teja Mullapudi helmed the first shot. Ram Talluri honorarily handed over the script to the director at the launch. The makers promise a fun ride in the offing and the film’s crew comprises several top-notch technicians.
While Jakes Bejoy scores the music, Manojh Katasani is the cinematographer. Anwar Ali is the editor and Kranthi Priyam is the production designer. Satyam Rajesh and Vidya Sagar J are the executive producers. Kalyani and Nagarjuna Thallapalli are the costume designer and the sound designer respectively. The film will go on floors this April.
In Das Ka Dhamki, Vishwak Sen plays a double role as an industrialist and a waiter. He had three releases in 2022 - Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam, Ori Devuda and Mukhachitram. He’s also awaiting the release of the long-delayed Gaami. While Vishwak was to star in actor Arjun’s directorial, the film was shelved owing to creative differences between the actors.
