Dasara success: Nani does a Jersey pose but with a twist

Dasara is a film that Nani wanted to click at any cost as it was his biggest budgeted film and a lot of stake was riding on it. But the manner in which the film has opened up has shocked the trade pundits as well. The makers revealed a poster which says that the film has made 38 crores gross worldwide on dayone which is huge for a Nani film ever.

High with the success of the film, Nani posted a picture on Twitter which shows the actor doing the famous Jersey pose. He is beaming with joy but the difference here in this picture is the axes that he is holding in his hand. These axes are from Dasara's climax fight and became quite popular. Nani has used this picture in a way that says that his belief in the subject and director has finally paid off.

Dasara has taken off to a solid start on day two as well in Telugu states. The film's collections will be huge on day two and as the word of mouth is glowing, the collections will surely improve in the other languages as well. Dasara had a pan-India release in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam on 30th March. Keerthy Suresh played the female lead.

Kannada actor Deekshit Shetty also played one of the leads and he has been praised a lot for his sincere performance. Dasara is on fire in the US as it has almost crossed the one million mark today. The film is set in the 90's and deals with the people who live in an alcohol ridden village Veerlapally. Sudhakar Cherukuri produced this film which will stream on Netflix in the month of May.
