Directed by Govind Vishnu, Daveed stars actors Antony Varghese Pepe, Lijomol Jose, and Saiju Kurup, among others in leading roles. It will premiere exclusively on ZEE5 on April 18. ZEE5, which bagged the post-theatrical streaming rights of 2025 Malayalam film Identity, has also acquired yet another Malayalam film. The streaming platform will be premiering the 2025 Malayalam sports drama Davee. It will stream from April 18 onwards.
Helmed by Govind Vishnu in his directorial debut, the film stars Antony Varghese Pepe, Lijomol Jose and Saiju Kurup among others. The film revolves around an unsuccessful former boxer, who goes through a major life change after he gets into the ring. The film takes place against the backdrop of Fort Kochi. While Lijomol Jose plays his wife, the film is a mix of action, emotion, and humour.

Produced by Century Max John & Mary Productions, Panorama Studios, the film opened to positive reviews. It was shot by Salu K. Thomas, and has edits handled by Rakesh Cherumadam. Justin Varghese scored the music for Daveed.
