Pratik Gandhi wowed us all with his memorable portrayal as the infamous stockbroker Harshad Mehta in the web series Scam 1992. And now, he is back with a new avatar of a common family man for the upcoming family drama Dedh Bigha Zameen.
The first look of the film, showing Pratik wearing a simple collared t-shirt alongside his female lead, was released by the production house T Series and the lead actor on social media today. The team also shared that the shoot of the movie has commenced in Jhansi today. The movie will have the fashion designer and model Khushali Kumar, sister of Bhushan Kumar and singer Tulsi Kumar, playing the female lead. The movie talks about the struggles of a common man when he fights for what is rightfully his.
The upcoming family drama is directed by Pulkit and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar under the banner of T Series Entertainment in association with Hansal Mehta and Shaailesh R Singh under the banner of Karma Media and Entertainment.
Pratik Gandhi previously appeared in movies like Loveyatri and Mitron before flooring us with his performance in Scam 1992. He took to social media to share his look as a common family man from the upcoming Dedh Bigha Zameen. He also posted one along with Khushali Kumar, where they looked like a ‘typical middle-class couple’.
The female lead Khushali Kumar started out as a fashion designer before she ventured into modelling. She featured in a music video sung by Tulsi to pay tribute to their late father Gulshan Kumar.
