The power couple of Bollywood, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, announced in February that they are expecting their first child in September 2024. The couple – who have been married to each other since 2018, shared the happy news via an Instagram post. Two weeks after the announcement, Deepika Padukone’s sister Anisha Padukone last evening revealed who could spoil the new addition to their family.

During an interaction with a brand, Anisha Padukone was asked how excited her family was about Deepika Padukone’s pregnancy. She said, “I feel great. It is a first-time feeling.” When asked who is likely to spoil the upcoming new addition to the family, she thought for a while and said, “It is a tough question. I want to say Ranveer, but I have a sneaky feeling that my parents could be the ones.”

Deepika Padukone has frequently expressed affection for her relationship with actor Ranveer Singh, which commenced in August 2012. They tied the knot in traditional Konkani Hindu and Sikh Anand Karaj ceremonies at Lake Como, Italy, in October 2018. Recently, in February 2024, the couple joyfully announced on Instagram that they are expecting their first child. Millions of Instagram users liked the couple’s post including famous stars like Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, and Karan Johar to name a few.
On Sunday, Deepika jetted off to work from Mumbai airport. She was dropped off at the airport by her love Ranveer Singh. This cute public display of affection won hearts on the internet. Many social media users lauded the couple for striking the right balance between their personal and professional lives.
Deepika Padukone was last seen in the film, Fighter, which minted over Rs 200 crore, across theatres in India. Later, she will be making a special appearance in Singham Again – a film directed by Rohit Shetty.
Ranveer is working on multiple projects, including Farhan Akhtar’s directorial Don 3 and Aditya Dhar’s untitled film.
