Dehati Ladke trailer — 'Padhne toh sab aate hain par sirf...,' Kusha Kapila dishes out life lesson in this college drama

The makers of Dehati Ladke recently unveiled the trailer of their series on YouTube. Starring Shine Pandey, Aashif Khan, Kusha Kapila, and others, the web show is all set to premiere on December 15, 2023. Ahead of its digital release, the trailer of Dehati Ladke has been released. The story of this show revolves around the life of Rajat, who moves out of his village to a big city in pursuit of clearing the UPSC examinations.

The trailer of Dehati Ladke sheds light on how Rajat forms new friendships and experiences first love in his new journey. At the same time, he struggles to stay true to his goal, keeping his family in mind.

Talking about the show, it is mainly based on what young students go through in their college life. The official synopsis of Dehati Ladke reads, "Rajat discovers what he wants from life and himself and in that process ends up gaining wisdom and losing some innocence." While Shine plays the role of Rajat in this series, Kusha will essay the role of Chaya in the web show, Dehati Ladke.

In an official statement, Kusha said that Dehati Ladke is a special story that will resonate with a lot of viewers. Shedding light on how college life is, the actress added that it is a mixture of many emotions and Shine's character in the series goes through the same. Talking about the role, Kusha added, "My character, Chaya, is a modern and liberal woman who brings out the undiscovered side of Rajat."

About the series

Dehati Ladke has been directed by Prashant Singh while the story has been penned by Ishan Bajpai and Amitabh Singh. On the other hand, the series has been bankrolled by Saurabh Tewari, Sumeet Chaudhary, and Kewal Seth. It will premiere on December 15, on Amazon miniTV.
