There's finally an official update on Demon Slayer Infinity Castle. The first installment of this film is scheduled to drop in July but there's a big catch. The movie is confirmed for release but only in Japan for now. Whether the film will release in theatres worldwide on the same day remains unknown. Demon Slayer Infinity Castle's first film among the trilogy will be out on July 18. The big catch though is that the release date is officially confirmed for Japan only at this point. So, whether the movie will be out globally on the very day, remains uncertain at this point.

Demon Slayer Infinity Castle series to be out already?

There's no assurity on whether the makers will release the new season of Demon Slayer right after its first film. Although they have usually made it a norm to release a movie first, leave some cliffhangers and continue from that point in the newer seasons, that might not happen before the trilogy is out in theatres. And we might have to wait till 2027 for all three films to be out. It is only three-six months after a movie's release, that a new season streams. So, there just might be a long waiting period for the new season to be out.

Demon Slayer begins in a snowy mountain, where Tanjiro's family resides. While he was out collecting wood, his family was killed by demons and the only person breathing was his sister Nezuko. But she has turned a demon. His future teacher Giyu Tomioka notices so and being a Hashira, he is obligated to kill demons but on Tanjiro's pleading, he only aids with restraining Nezuko. Thereon begins Tanjiro's journey to becoming a Hashira and finding a way to cure his sister and heal humanity. He makes new friends and meets many teachers throughout his journey. Among the enemies, he comes across the leader Muzan, who seeks out Nezuko to become immortal in the form of a demon. Given how powerful he is, especially with his disciples, Muzan has opened up a void, which is called Infinity Castle. The Hashiras have fallen into the trap and need to find a way to defeat the remaining powerful demons (of course including Muzan) while keeping Nezuko safe too. This is while their battlefield keeps shifting base.
