Deva box office collection day 7: Shahid Kapoor’s thriller earns less than Rs 2 crore dropping even further

Deva Box Office Collection Day 7: The way things have unfolded for Shahid Kapoor’s Deva so far is tragic because the movie, which showed a promising start, could only sustain momentum for a couple of days. Now, as time progresses, the film has dropped to very low collections, raising concerns about its total earnings and lifetime run. On day 7, Deva has not even managed to touch the ₹2 crore mark, which has been its consistent figure for the past few days. This has set off alarms for Rosshan Andrrews’ directorial, which faces tough competition ahead, including a major challenge next Friday.

Shahid Kapoor-led Deva is an action-packed cop thriller that marks the Hindi debut of Rosshan Andrrews, known for the Malayalam hit Mumbai Police, of which this film is a remake. The movie has now completed a week in theaters, but things do not look promising. The collections on day 7 remain minimal, preventing the film from touching the ₹30 crore mark, which is not a healthy sign.

As per Sacnilk, Deva has earned only ₹1.50 crore at the domestic box office on day 7. The total collection in India now stands at ₹28.15 crore. The Hindi occupancy on Thursday was 6.70%, with morning shows recording 4.47%, afternoon shows at 6.31%, and evening shows at 6.99%.

Meanwhile, Deva has completed its first week in cinemas, managing to survive despite stiff competition. The film initially clashed with Sky Force, starring Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya, which was still performing well. From today, it will compete with Loveyapa and Badass Ravi Kumar. However, the biggest challenge lies ahead next week when Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava releases. The Chhaava buzz is massive, and if Deva fails to hold strong, it may struggle to retain its place in theaters.
