Jr NTR is gearing up for yet another big project of his career. The RRR star is currently busy with the shoot of Devara. It is being helmed by Koratala Siva. Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan have joined the star cast of this magnum opus as well. Given the magnitude of this project, filmmaker Koratala has now decided to release Devara in two parts.
Devara to be released in two parts, confirms Koratala Siva
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared a video footage of Koratala Siva giving an important update about his film Devara. The filmmaker confirmed that the story of the film won't change in the scale but wit will thrive in scale.
"The film is set against the backdrop of forgotten lands of coastal India, and the canvas is too big. As we started shooting the film, the canvas revealed itself and started getting bigger and bigger. Every character in the film has its own weight and they need to be explored and established in depth and in detail, which we can't justify in one part. So, we took the decision to tell this big story and canvas in two parts. The story won't change in shape but will thrive in scale. One of the biggest canvases ever of Devara will be done in two parts, and April 5, 2024, is just the beginning," said Siva.

Part 1 of Devara will hit the silver screen on April 5, 2024. Having said that, there's no confirmation on the release date of its part 2. As for Janhvi, she will be making her South debut with this film. While Jr NTR plays the titular role, Saif will be seen as Bhaira in the movie.
What's next for Jr NTR?
On the work front, Jr NTR will reportedly begin full-fledged work on War 2 once he completes Devara's shoot. The actor will be seen alongside Hrithik Roshan in the movie. It is being directed by Ayan Mukerji. The first part of War was directed by Siddharth Anand.
