Deven Bhojani and Parineeti Chopra lead unconventional OTT film; details inside

Earlier this year, Parineeti Chopra's Instagram photo with veteran actor Deven Bhojani piqued the interest of her fans. Months after the picture went viral, the mystery surrounding the potential cooperation is finally clear. Bhojani confirmed to Mid-Day that they are unquestionably playing the leads in an upcoming OTT movie when questioned about their collaboration.

Although both actors are the lead actors, the actor clarified it that their onscreen chemistry does not adhere to the conventional hero-heroine formula. Within the film, the two actors share a unique dynamic that does not conform to the traditional hero-heroine relationship. He spoke to the tabloid about how they were portraying the lead roles.

Bhojani chose to keep mum regarding the director and other details, despite rumours that new filmmaker Dhruv Tripathi is helming the project. However, he did reveal that the film is not a comedy. An actor famed for his comic timing in critically acclaimed series like Sarabhai vs. Sarabhai and Sumit Sambhal Lega—which he also directed—revealed this turn of events.

Bhojani, who was recently seen in Black White & Gray – Love Kills, said, describing his initial concerns about working with Chopra (watch Uunchai), that before the shoot, he wasn’t sure how things would pan out because she is a big Bollywood star, and here they were playing the leads in the film. So, he had his preconceived notions about her.

As soon as the two performers started working together, though, any reservations they had rapidly disappeared. Their chemistry was instantaneous. “Yeh toh ekdum cool bandi hai” was his thought to himself and her demeanour is grounded. Bhojani said honestly that they would support one another and assist each other out, and they would laugh and gossip a lot.
