Dhanush confirms his presence in the much-expected sequel to Russo Brothers' The Gray Man

The makers of The Gray Man promoted the action film in an extensive manner in India, thanks to the presence of Dhanush in a notable role. The directors of the movie Russo Brothers were all praise for the actor's commitment and acting style, and had revealed that they would like to team up with him again for a project.

Billed as one of the biggest action films of the year, it dropped on Netflix on July 22. During one of the promotional events of the film, Russo Brothers said that there is a possibility that Avik San, the role played by Dhanush in it, might appear as a spin-off.

Recently, the filmmaker duo revealed that a sequel to The Gray Man will be made and fans of Dhanush were curious about his presence in the second part. The actor has now taken to his Twitter page to confirm that he's very much a part of its second installment.

He shared an audio clip from The Gray Man along with the tweet, "The Gray Man universe is expanding and the sequel is coming… Lone Wolf is ready, are you?" Dhanush essayed Avik San aka Lone Wolf, an agile and one of the top assassins in the movie.

The movie starring Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans and Ana de Armas was released in a few selected theatres a week before its Netflix premiere. The Gray Man opened to mixed reviews though its action sequences garnered appreciation from film buffs and critics alike.

With Dhanush making his presence felt in the movie and receiving words of appreciation from several quarters, the second part is expected to open huge in theatres in India if at all makers are planning for a theatrical release.
