Dhanush has had four films this year, including two direct OTT releases and two theatrical outings. His fans have been eagerly waiting to watch his fifth movie Vaathi in December, but its makers postponed the release to February next year. They announced recently that the film's first single will be unveiled on November 10.

The melody is titled Vaa Vaathi in Tamil and Mastaaru Mastaaru in Telugu. Music director GV Prakash took to his social media page to tease fans with a surprise video that has him playing the song with a piano.

As soon as the young musician is seen playing the track, a voice is heard from his left side. The camera then pans to showcase Dhanush singing the song in his popular voice. The actor himself has penned lyrics for the track. Fans went gaga seeing him sporting a beard and donning a hat in the video.

They took to the comment section to express excitement and said that they can't wait for another chartbuster from the combination of Dhanush and GV Prakash.
