Dhanush to play THIS peculiar role in filmmaker H Vinoth's untitled project after completing Captain Miller

Dhanush, who has had a roller-coaster ride in 2022, is expected to sign a few interesting projects this year, too. His next outing is the bilingual flick Vaathi, which is set for a release on February 17 in Tamil and Telugu. 

He is currently shooting for Arun Matheswaran's adventure flick Captain Miller which is likely to hit the screens later this year. The actor-filmmaker also has plans to make his sophomore directorial project with SJ Suryah and Vishnu Vishal soon. Sun Pictures is said to be bankrolling the movie.

There have been reports that Thunivu filmmaker H Vinoth will be joining hands with the Naane Varuvean star. The former has confirmed the same now during a media interaction. He has revealed that the project revolves around a con man and the various issues he comes across.

Interestingly, Vinoth had narrated the idea to Ajith initially. But the latter wasn't convinced with some of the portions in it, after which he took it to Dhanush. The filmmaker's debut movie Sathuranga Vettai, too, revolved around a con man who undergoes redemption owing to certain unexpected incidents in his life.

Fans of Dhanush are elated over the director revealing the character design of their favourite star. They are now looking forward to him coming up with an official announcement on the film. It has to be seen if the project would go on floors this year considering the commitment Dhanush has in his kitty.

Vinoth, who debuted in 2014, teamed up with Ajith for three continuous films from 2019. While their first association Nerkonda Paarvai was the Tamil remake of Pink, the previous outing Valimai was an actioner.
